"Linda is a prolific artist and enjoys a variety of diverse tools and subjects, but always comes back to her Alberta roots. Her education consists of formal training in Red Deer College (Art &Design) and Uof C BFA program as well as numerous workshops with acclaimed artists. Living in Calgary and painting fulltime since 2005, she has enjoyed many successes. She was awarded ‘best new artist’ at the 2009 Calgary Stampede art Auction and ‘best of show’ in the 2009 Calgary Stampede art gallery. She is an active participant in the art community and has shown in various galleries and juried shows. Linda’s paintings are enjoyed in both corporate and private collections across Canada and abroad."
